two of my favorite shows seem to deal with murder in a character's past. from the oddly disturbing Renee', real name rhonda, real name Gabrielle Union, on Ugly Betty, to the stunning Serena on Gossip Girl, there's something sinful about adding murder to your menu on a tv show. violence itself has always been a TV turn on, but with the added glamour of New York City... murder never looked so good.
Serena's blast from the past in the form of Buffy's Michelle Trachtenburg as Georgie is delectable as the evil ghost of Christmas past and im realizing that Serena, for all her good intentions is still figuring herself out and thats why she keeps making mistakes. her boring goody goody personality is finally developing an edge.
on the other hand, the best moment in ugly betty, most recent episode, is when Mrs Meade pinches Betty and says, WAKE UP!!!! a sentiment ive been sending to betty for a couple of weeks now, via some strongly worded brainwaves. i confess, i did sypathise when charlie had the baby and the light of realization struck betty, but i was super thrilled that she finally stopped being so annoyingly dense about the situation.
Hilda's new love interest, Coach Diaz (Eddie cibrian) i remember as Samantha's fleeting love interest on Samantha Who. he's cute :) Hilda needs a bit of happy, so fingers crossed that he sticks around.
Gossip girl really does move at the speed of lightning. theyve had more story lines and intrigues in one season than One Tree Hill has had ever! i've always though that teen shows seem to be braver with homosexuality anyway.
Dawson's Creek's Jack had the first gay kiss on cable and the recent confession of E. Van der Woodsen is another triumph of gay pride.
speaking of gay pride, Brothers and Sisters has the gorgeous Mathew Rhys falling in love with the cutest men! it makes you believe that all the cute men ARE gay. sigh.
anyway, im off to watch more tv, pass more comments, and search for my ipod, which seems to be hiding from me.
